The only way Trump can end this war on day one is to cave in to all of Putin's demands which would make him the weakest president in history and probably lead to an emboldened Putin to go after further territory in Europe. It would also alienate the US from its NATO allies as we are all standing up against Putin and to have Trump pull the rug out from under us is not going to go down well. Especially at a time when the US will need its NATO allies to stand up to a potential threat from China
