Ukraine will be told it is currently too corrupt to join Nato, in a major blow to Volodymyr Zelensky.

The alliance will request “additional steps” from Kyiv before membership talks progress, a senior official in the US State Department said.

The position will be set out in writing in the Nato communique to be signed at the alliance’s annual summit on July 9."

Before the war started in 2022 a lot of people were saying Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, then the war broke out they stopped saying it so much to not put Ukraine down.

NATO is meeting in Washington DC from today until the 11th, the 75 year anniversary of the organization, hoping they make some good choices and try get this war to end. It's costing us in the west billions we could be using at home. It is costing Ukraine land and people, sure thing the arms manufacturers are raking in billions from it,let's see what they come up with.
