I stand corrected, according to Trump Russia has suffered nearly 1 MILLION casualties in this war !! Thats absolutely massive when you consider they only lost around 15,000 in ten years of the Afghanistan war. Putin doesn't give a damn about human life and is simply throwing bodies into the meat grinder in the hope that he can overwhelm Ukraine
The big question is, can he afford to stop ??? The minute the war is over, his economy will collapse because its being propped up by war production. All those soldiers, factory workers, truck drivers and everybody else currently employed in the Russian war machine will be out of a job. His economy is already in free fall and its now obvious that Trump is NOT going to bail him out.
It wouldn't take much for his people to turn on him. Very few dictators enjoy a long and peaceful retirement. They usually die on the job or are dragged out of office and shot

What are you peeps talking, Russia is the 4th largest economy in the world.
https://www.visualcapitalist.com/ranked ... y-gdp-ppp/
Russia is #4 in the world based on purchasing power parity.
Who says they are hurting you have to stop watching MSM and see what else there is that reports facts not propaganda.

Trump said it himself. He posted "Russia is heading for 'big trouble' in the economy" and even Putin acknowledged that there were "significant issues" with his economy the other day
Their inflation is nearly in double figures so the cost of food and fuel is spiraling. The interest rate is at 21% (compared to USA at 4.5%) so businesses cant borrow money to invest. The ruble has dropped significantly, he's facing sanctions from most of the western world and on top of all that, he's suffered nearly a million casualties !
Reuters describes the outlook for the Russian economy for 2025 as the "Ideal Storm" - https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/ ... 025-01-23/
Maybe you guys need to stop watching Fox News and look at other news outlets

With all due respect I believe you should change Russia for Ukraine in the post. You described the Ukrainian situation and accidentally used Russia instead of Ukraine.
I honestly think the mainstream media has done a great job twisting the truth and facts 180 degrees and convinced people it to be true and people believe them.

Im NOT quoting mainstream media, Im quoting Trump. I watched him the other day when he said that Ukraine had suffered around 600,000 casualties but Russia had suffered nearly 1 MILLION and Putin was heading for "big trouble" in their economy. For once I agree with himTheButcher wrote: ↑January 24th, 2025, 2:21 pmtacnet wrote: ↑January 24th, 2025, 8:50 amI stand corrected, according to Trump Russia has suffered nearly 1 MILLION casualties in this war !! Trump has no core interest in prolonging this war so the odds are he will talk to Putin end it. He is focused on China.

Before this special military operation it was openly talked about how Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
This from the Guardian.

Both Russia and Trump appear to be telling Ukraine to hold a presidential election since Zelensky's term has expired and he will not be able to sign any peace deal.
