We are happy to pay out under the min if you are looking to stop promoting or close your account. But its something we will only do once per account. You do have to keep in mind the payment method. For example: if you have $40 in your balance and your payment method is wire we will need to find a new payment method to pay out that small balance.
oh come on! the affiliate needs to find it? why don't you just tell them? since it's per person... like we have check or funky ass paxum...

Interesting topic you all have going here, along with interesting exchange of words..

I will be compiling some quotes and get back to posting my opinion of this conundrum.

As an affiliate of over 20 years I can relate to how some affiliates may feel about this as well as relate to the sponsor programs with payout overhead fees.

There are very good points from both sides of the table here.

Not trying to steal this thread, BUT, in a sense, it is related to how affiliates can be treated in this adult world of dog eat dog - it all comes to being all about the $$$.

If I may quote myself with relation to this topic:

No. That is what life is. It's all about money. If you don't have it you will die because nobody cares; because all everyone cares about is money. It's dog eat dog because of money. Money is what life is all about because our governments make it that way. They do not care about the people unless they are paying the government taxes to support their government so the government can continue with its' shady BS and black budgets; to further manipulate their own goals to basically continue their government BS.

People don't matter, only money matters.

I say this because that is the way it is. It's not because I believe that money is all that matters. I say it because that IS the society we all live in. Unfortunately.

This should NOT be a case of 'I (sponsor..) don't mind and you (affiliate..) don't matter'.
BrassMonkey has a point here, although it being about only $2 dollars is a bit far fetched, the point is made. Point being is an affiliate has done his work and sent sponsor a sale. Sponsor got their money but affiliate has not.

.. Continuing ..

A sponsors processing fee in most cases, in my honest to goodness opinion, is ridiculous. Whether it being paxum, wire, check, or whatever. CCBill takes their fees in processing as well. Hell, CCBill has owed me only 24.95 for years and they won't get off a check simply because of $0.05 cents. It's the point being, it's not the amount. It is just the POINT of it all. I did my work and CCBill and the sponsor got their money but I am sitting here waiting on a whole $0.05 cents. It's not like that .05 cents is going to break them either. By the time I would get a check it would probably only be about $22.00 or something like around that amount; after processing and printing and mailing etc.

There are other options available to sponsors to make a payout without all this fuss of $$$ processing etc.

I do not know who processes NATS. But I would hope that a sponsor is not tied down to NATS and not getting paid from affiliate referrals while the affiliate has to wait, and wait, and wait. A sponsor program has other ways to pay an affiliate. Paypal is one option. If affiliate is owed a whole $20 dollars, then so be it, pay the affiliate via paypal and let paypal have their 2.9% of the $20. THe sponsor loses nothing but the pay out of the owed $20 dollars.

Then there is always CRYPTOCURRENCY pay outs! Where a very very small percentage is taken for the processing of the payment and is deducted from the amount owed and the affiliate would receive the payment minus the processing fee. Some cryptos are cheaper than others, but that really is not the point of getting an affiliate paid in some way or another.

Electronic payment processing fees are taken out of the amount owed. The sponsor has to pay nothing more but what is owed to the affiliate, and maybe take a few minutes out of their day. The affiliate is paying the processing fee!

Although there may be some additional setup for a sponsor to make to send out a crypto payment, or a PayPal payment, the point made is that the affiliate is being paid.

'Minimum Payout' should be a thing of the past! Technology as well as adult marketing times have evolved since 2005. Minimum payout is only a thing still being used so that sponsors can keep affiliate earnings until, in some cases, a ridiculous minimum amount is acquired. Then the affiliate has to 'hope' that the sponsor is still around with that money to pay the affiliate for their hard work. I'm not saying the sponsor doesn't do a lot of hard work either, but the point remains.

The point of all of this is, sponsors should be able to pay an affiliate regardless of the amount owed. Lets say the sponsor still only has a minimum payout of $20, atleast that is FAIR. The sponsor can still pay the affiliate $20 if he has made a couple of referral sales for the sponsor. Either it be using PayPal or Crypto wallet address. The sponsor has to pay ZERO fees to send a payment. The only way a sponsor should have to pay 'processing fees' is if they have to have a check printed and mailed. There may be other stipulations under some 'electronic processors' such as paxum or whatever NATS uses. But still those fees can be deducted from what is owed to the affiliate. The sponsor should not have to pay any of the fees to send a payment to an affiliate.

PayPal takes 2.9% .. the others should not be taking more than that. Times have changed sinde 'Minimum Payout' "rules" .. That is a bunch of BS .. "RULES" haha! Rules should be renamed to something like .. WE can hold your money until you have made $100 - $1000 dollars. And if you're lucky you can get paid if we are still around.

.. If sponsors do not want to pay affiliates, then, they should market their own program.

Not all affiliates have some website like freeones or adult.com or xxx.xxx etc. A LOT of affiliates are busting their asses trying to promote sponsors like you to make a small amount of a living. Just because a sponsor has busted their ass in making a program does not mean their program is all that 'automated' to where they don't have to do anything to help affiliates but sit back and wait for affiliates to make them sales and not care about paying out affiliates because of some so called 'rule' about minimum payouts or processing fees. As mentioned earlier, processing fees can be paid by the affiliate leaving nothing but a few extra minutes of the sponsors day to pay an affiliate a small minimum amount of say, $20.

That could go a very very long way when us affiliates are putting up links and advertising sponsor programs to other affiliates. Ya think?!

This is not the year 2002 or even the year 2010 or 2015 .. a minimum pay out of $100 or $500 or $1000 is just not really needed because of 'needing to print a check and mail it'. There are other methods of electronic payments that the sponsor does not have to pay to process any payments to an affiliate.

As a program owner, there has to be some kind of minimum payout. Otherwise we can get affiliates demanding we pay them like $20. It would cost us more than that to process the payment
That is not true. As I have mentioned above, sponsors do not have to pay processing fees for small electronic payments via paypal or crypto. It may require some setup on your end, but the option remains.

ALL SPONSORS HAVE MINIMUM PAYOUTS !!! We have to, otherwise whats to stop you making one sale and then demanding we send you your $20 or whatever ??? It costs us way more than that simply to process the payment so we end up making a loss

Even ccbill have minimum payouts between are $50 - $100 depending on your payout method

And like Butcher says, if your whining over $20 then we really dont want your busines
Create a Pay Me Now button within the program and have it send to PayPal or via Crypto wallet.

CCBill minimum pay out is $25.00

Then market your own program or only allow those with high profile sites to be allowed to join your program and accept a minimum payment of $1000.

... What you dont realise is that it would cost us $25 to wire the money or $75 to load money into our paxum account ($25 bank fee + $50 charge from Paxum) and even if we sent you a check, your bank will likely return it as un-ecanomical to process. Its an international check and we have seen several returned by the bank if they are less than $100 ...
Then let those that want or choose a 'wire' or 'paxum' or a 'check' have those options of a minimum payout of $1000 or whatever.

A 'Pay Me Now' button can't hurt anything if you do not have to pay any processing fees via PayPal or Crypto wallet payments. Or whatever, I'm sure there are other options. Whatsapp .. I guess.

The whole point being is that there are other options available today that can allow small payments to be made without a sponsor having to worry about a 'processing fee'.

That's what this is all about anyway, right? 'Processing Fees' .. Which is why it has been mentioned that all programs have a 'minimum payout'. Because of processing fees.

Sorry but this is NOT true. Your seeing it from the perspective of personal banking where sending and receiving money is mostly free. This is NOT the case with business banking

For example, you might believe that it only cost $1 to send money by Paxum. But were you aware that Paxum charge $50 to load the money into your paxum account in the first place ?? You might also assume that you can ping money from your bank account free of charge ?? But for business banking, there is a charge of $25.00 per transaction. So in other words, thats a total of $75 just to ping your money into our Paxum account and thats before we even process the payment

There is also the conversion to take into account. You might only be interested in US dollars but program owners are global. That means that means that we might be getting paid in Euros, Pound Stirling or whatever and people like Paypal, Paxum or our banks will charge us every time we convert that money into US dollars

Ive heard the argument that, as program owners, we should just absorb these costs. But imagine if you have say 200 affiliates to pay. What is a $10 admin fee to you quickly beomes $2,000 a month to us. That's $24k a year that we would loose purely in banking charges. You can see how we would quickly go out of business

I realise that admin fee's are a pain for affiliates but unless we pass them on then we would be out of business

Affiliate pay out options: (EXAMPLE)

Option 1 - I am a high profile site and only require a minimum payout of $1000 either directly deposited into my bank, or by paxum, or by check. You pay all processing fees.

Option 2 - I am a medium profile site and only require minimum payout of $500 either directly deposited into my bank, or by paxum, or by check. You pay all processing fees.

Option 3 - I am a low profile site and I may require a minimum payout of No less than $20 or no more than $100. I accept a 'Pay Me Now' option via my PayPal or by my Cryptocurrency wallet. I will pay the processing fee.

Again not true. We pay £2.99 per paypal transaction because it is linked to our business credit card. Plus paypal then convert the money from UK pounds to US dollars at a favourable rate to them.

Again, This is true, from a USD perspective. I have a PayPal business account too. And all funds sent to it are subtracted 2.9% as a PayPal transfer fee.

So, you pay £2.99 for each PayPal transaction regardless of the amount? If you send out £1000 you are still only charged £2.99? Perhaps that is a matter of the settings in your business account regarding different currencies.

I am no expert on the £ currency. But still.. A business account is still a business account. USD is only 2.9% for each transaction regardless of the amount.

I am not talking about Paxum transactions. See Option 1 and Option 2 from the example payouts.
