They royally fucked up with the trans move featuring Mulvaney, they misread their audience and never seemed to figure out how to correct the mess they created. Number on rule when you screw up is come out admit you were wrong, take full responsibility, tell your target audience we heard you and this is how we intend to proceed.

Firings of the people responsible and higher ups who authorized a bad marketing decision always goes a long way to pacify the people you alienated, when you do that people see you mean business and intend to remedy your mistakes.

Hopefully other companies learn from this episode and learn not to repeat it.

Not to me they fucked up with the Dick Malvany trans campaign and now they are paying the price, I actually saw this thing going from bad to worse. Even though I have no knowledge of their demographics I could tell the typical Budweiser consumer was not going to buy this trans ad shift.
