I think both sides want to end the war and talk real business so it looks on track to come to an end. If it doesn't well Trump said id he will end it during his campaign and has a lot of personal and political goodwill invested in doing sd, if he fails then he will not be happy, and I see him giving a lot of weapons to Ukraine and pilling on more sanctions on Russia. Neither of which have worked so far in the 3 years of this war but I don;t see him doing anything more.

Well it seems like the rest of the world has come out in support of Ukraine. And not just Euopean countries like UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Finland etc but also countries like Australia, Japan and Canada have all said they stand with Ukraine.

As for Zelensky resigning, his approval rating was at 57% a couple of weeks ago (despite what Trump was saying) and after this, his numbers have apparently shot up. Even if he did hold elections right now (which is impossible when your country is under attack) he would win them hands down

One thing is clear, the US is no longer leader of the free world. For the first time ever the other day, in a UN security council meeting the US voted AGAINST all its allies and instead voted WITH Russia and North Korea. I think that says it all

None of them will send troops in to Ukraine without US guarantees and Trump already said no Article 5 if you go alone. Trump also said he is not sending in troops so that pretty much is it for Europe. Trump wants peace and the killing to stop, what European leaders say is not consequential and why they have been left out of the peace negotiations along with Ukraine. Europe is bankrupt and they have only themselves to blame for sending all their money and military support to Ukraine.

Your missing the point. What comes after Ukraine ????

Trump has basically killed NATO. Even if he doesn't pull out, he's made it clear that he will not support article 5 (even though the ONLY time article 5 has been implemented was by the USA after 9/11)

That means Putin has a free hand to go after any damned think he wants in Europe. This is a guy who has torn up every peace treaty he has ever made (eg Ukraine, Chechnya, Georgie) and has made it perfectly clear in his 2019 essay that he wants to regain the former soviet states including the Baltic states, Poland and Finland. He has spent the last 3 years threatening to use nuclear weapons against European countries that support Ukraine and he's been actively conducting a hybrid war against Europe for the last decade !!!

You think we should just sit back and watch the world burn like Trump is doing ???? No. That's why every European leader is ramping up their defense spending right now. The only one who isn't on board is

NATO was formed after WW2 specifically to stop territorial expansionism where a strong country could attack the weak. It has kept the peace for 80 years and now Trump has abandoned it. As a result there is going to be another war in Europe in the next 3 - 5 years and everybody knows it.
