Not followed this thing too much , what I can see serious analysts saying is that Zelensky can not reclaim any lost territory so why keep throwing men to the Russian meat grinder.

Hopefully he got a burial, it is always sad when people die in a war. But hey from my reading he went to fight as a mercenary, so he knew the risks.

Russia's economy is now in free fall. Inflation at 9.5% and interest rates at a whopping 21%. The ruble has tanked and his GDP is rapidly shrinking. Arms sales have fallen off a cliff because nobody wants to buy Russian weapons anymore and he's having to sell his gas and oil at cut price to China. And ontop of all that, he has suffered over 700,000 casualties and is now having to rely on a backward country like North Korea for soldiers.

None of these figures are "fake news". Even Trump himself said today that Putin has destroyed Russia with this war and he's threatened to ramp up sanctions if Putin doesn't agree to a peace deal
