what are you using that will text you if your server takes a crap, mine has been giving me problems for the past few days and half the time it is when I am a sleep. I want some thing text me when my sites are down.

We use https://www.pingdom.com/ for exactly that

It does a whole bunch of other stuff too but we mainly have it for the sms texts when the server goes down

Ahh ok, thats with the free account though ? That makes sense really otherwise they could be sending out hundreds of SMS alerts for nothing

Pingdom gives you 50 SMS alerts for £7.92 a month. But they also do page speed monitoring which is handy
