mouse slows down
I have a nice wireless mouse and every few months the tracking speed slows down, even when I put it on the fastest setting it does this, any idea what could be causing it to act up.

Blow out the optical sensor. My wired mouse does that sometimes. I think it gathers dust. I just give it a hard blow or two.

It is all the fluff off the mouse pad why I got myself a plastic one.

Turn over your keyboard and gentle tap it a few times, see how much shit comes out, you will be surprised.

Slightly off topic I know but a really useful thing I found that can make your keyboard last for years :-
For desktop keyboards https://www.amazon.com/Thinnest-Waterpr ... 213&sr=8-7
For laptop keyboards https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Keyboa ... 213&sr=8-9
The trick is to stick it down round the edges with selotape. That effectively seals off your keyboard from everything. Dust, spills, grit etc etc. You'll need to change it every few months
Had my current laptop for 6 years without a single keyboard problem and my desktop keyboard for nearky 8 years

Great. Be sure to stick it down though otherwise its pretty useless
I usually change them every few weeks. This one is a bit grubby now but the keyboard underneath is like brand new. Even though the laptop is 5 or 6 years old. And god knows how many times ive spilt stuff all over it.
Tape over the power buttons too. Stops anything getting inside

Wireless gadgets are all fine until they get low on juice then you wish for a corded mouse and keyboard
