The problem with people who buy into conspiracy theories is you simply cannot reason with them.

No matter how much evidence you show them to the contrary or how many times you prove them wrong, they will ALWAYS come back with something else to support their theory. They are quite happy to dismiss MOUNTAINS of evidence in favour of some link they found on the internet

And often if they believe in one conspiracy theory, they believe in ALL of them. I have a friend like this who is conviced that the moon landings were fake, global warming is a conspiracy, covid was a conspiracy, 9/11 was the CIA etc. And there is absolutely nothing i can say to convince him otherwise

Only reason I am skeptical about the moon landings is the computers we had back then.
