UK marriage age raised to 18 years old

It used to be 16 years old with parental consent but as of today the The Marriage and Civil Partnership (Minimum Age) Act 2022 has been changed to make it 18. About time 16 was too young.

How ling did your marriage last?

It lasted 17 1/2 years, the last 2 1/2 years of that we were separated. We're still on friendly terms.
