shtml is old. It was popular years ago before php use became more widespread. It allows for SSI (server side includes) and made it possible to have side wide header/footer/etc files.

You could do the same thing with html as well but you would have to change your server settings to do that. A directive added to your .htaccess file could take care of that as well I believe.

I have no idea why someone would want to use SSI nowadays when you can do so much more with php.

Trade expert can use SHTML, PHP and Javascript although the latter is less accurate
  • PHP
    include("/FULL/PATH/TO/public_html/your_te3_directory/in.php");
  • SHTML
    <!–-#include virtual=”/your_te3_directory/in.php?$QUERY_STRING” -->

This is true & my real problem is the script itself. Not updated in a long time, and will it carry on functioning with the new PHP8x I have to install on my server quite soon.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.
