So it is official the King has asked Rishi Sunak to be his prime minister and form a government I hope he does well the country needs a good captain right now to sort things out. PM Sunak is a highly educated extremely talented and experienced politician. But he has no charisma not that it is a requirement of his job. I watched him come outside of number 10 and deliver his speech earlier and he looked shell shocked. No smile not very happy. I wonder if the King told him you better get this done right or I'll send you to the Tower.

Bit too soon to tell really. We will have to have an election soon because nobody has voted for the current PM so he has no mandate to govern.

Think he will have a tough time but I think all incumbent governments around the world will take a battering over the next year or so. The cost of living crisis is an easy thing to blame on the current government wherever you are. Ive seen this happening here in the UK, USA, France, Italy and all over the world
