Has anyone heard of End-of-Life (EOL) process for .htaccess?


Effective October 2022, .htaccess will no longer be an option on the platform
remove .htaccess dependencies

Which is where I offer free Development WP hosting.

It is for WPEngine from what I have seen, but who knows if it might become depreciated by other softwares.

It is not being discontinued by any other platform, and I hope it stays for ever. It is just an amazing tool.
