[NON-BUSINESS] Snow I love but freezing rain is another story

I woke up to freezing rain, if any of you have not seen it, well you're lucky, it's slippery to walk on, cleaning it off the car is a pain in the you know what, and the roads are just asking for accidents. This is the first on of the season, must have come all night because every thing out there is covered in it. I went out to the store just walking form the car to the store entrance is an acrobatic act. But came home alright. Not looking forward to doing anything out doors today until 8pm when I have to go to a friend's dinner party for his big 60 at an Italian restaurant downtown.

Snow is nice I like it.

We never see snow here only in movies where it's Christmas and there is snow outside.

3 years ago we all went to Big bear and it was snowing and we saw freezing rain for the first time, it gets slippery to put it mildly. If it happened here in Los Angeles it would be a nightmare to drive people are not used to it.

We never have freezing rain in Malta I assume it is rain that has frozen beyond the snow level

Last time I saw real snow was in 2018 when we all got a cabin up in Arrowhead for Christmas week, it was nice but cold.
