I removed the banners for sponsor that was not converting well a week ago, and it still shows daily raw and unique hits to their sites. It has nt changed up or down the same 40-45 raws and 40-45 uniques.

I was going to say maybe cached pages but two things strike me as odd. The raw and unique numbers are too close for comfort and if you had links/banners to the sites up and now they are deleted I would assume you should see some drop in numbers, it could not all be cached pages.
Are you sure you have not left some banners or links to the sites?

lol, I don't think they do that anymore, though. I heard that was more when paysite PPS was more popular, then the company will add in a $30-60PPS sale, when the minimum to cash out is about $100. It's both to get people to talk about the program on forums and to get that affiliate to promote it harder to meet the minimum payout since the first PPS is almost there.

yep seen quite a few programs do that over the past years especially when the minimum payout threshold was $200 or $500.

Think about it why not add a sale to new accounts that send say 2-3 joins a day, get them excited to push your program more.

If the stats havent changed then it sounds like their log rotation isnt working which is probably why you werent getting any sales either.

They are not counting your new traffic they are simply re-counting your old traffic and your not getting credited for any new sales you send

Just curious, but let's say that a program is using 'first cookie wins for x days' kind of thing, then a surfer clicks an affiliate link where that cookie is already set for affiliate 1, but the link is affiliate 2's, will that unique show up on the affiliate #1 or #2's stats?
I feel like I should know this but I'm not 100%... lol
