[BUSINESS] sponsors don't send clicks to registration forms
I see this all the time and keep telling sponsors, when you have referral links send them to the program home page not directly to the sign up page, do a bit to help yourself get affiliates the person registering to the program has to see what they are signing up to promote. The same with surfer links send them to a home page or tour of the site not to where they have to pull out their credit card and sign up.
Peace

It is such an obvious mistake that so many sponsors do.

I have been trying to tell this to one particular sponsor for over a week but after 2 emails, 2 skype messages they simply do not care to do anything about it or reply just to say we know. Go figure.

I never understand why sponsors dont let the affiliates choose where to link to. Most will simply send ALL clicks to the registration page or to the one or maybe two affiliate tours theyve created
Sorry I know its blowing our own trumpet again but we setup so that affiliates can choose to link to our home page, an individual TAC website, a specific update on a website, a category of websites (so for example, British sponsors can link to our TAC British MILFs page or mature sponsors can link to our TAC Grannies Page) etc.
They can even link to a specific update tag, for example our TAC Gangbangs Page or our TAC Cosplay Page
The only page they cant link directly to is the signup page
The affiliates know what kind of traffic they have and they can send it to where its most likely to convert. Hugely improves user interaction and conversion ratios

You know how many sponsors have no clue or realize they have to edit the NATS page for "Contact" you go to a site and it has the generic text for them still there saying edit this page with your contact info. You think they will bother with affiliate link options give me a break.

I agree membership sites with every image and video clicked to the registration form are not going to convert compared to having those preview thumbs and videos actually open up a preview.

I know what I do is try figure out what the program url is and type that in, but that is not what most people will end up doing so it is a bad way to try get affiliates.

The thread has to be pinned so programs can see this and get a hint.
