I feel flattered the bar I go to a couple of nights a week has this new bar tender, she's been there 2 months or so and I seen her 7-8 times. Last night me and my friend were drinking for a couple of hours, at 10pm I said hey let's go eat I am hungry. He said no he ate earlier, the bar tender said I'm done in an hour I'll come with you.

I was shocked she is 25 I heard her say it to another customer last week and I am 72. I have not been out with a woman even on a casual coffee date since my wife passed away. I nearly said okay let's go eat together when you can but she is so much younger than me, even just to have company and chat while having dinner would be nice but I could not go out with her. It would look so wrong.


But I am flattered she asked me out.
