WordPress - mass editing images
Hi guys, looked for this but have not found a solution, is there a way to mass edit posts so all images are "Centered" in the posts.
I redid the theme on https://somenudes.com and like it but some people who p[posted images did not "Center" them and they look on the left.
Thanks
Peace

Yeah. In the template, every place where you want it centered, add in code to center it around <php the_content();> But then that would center the entire post.
(Child themes and all that, I know...)
To make it center just post images that people didn't set, that might take a little more work and I'd have to look at the code.

Or just go in and edit the ones that didn't center and add in aligncenter

I would not mind if everything on the page is centered, I assume it would be on "Main Index Template" but I can't figure out where to stick that code Mike.
Any ideas please.
Peace

Thanks boss, is there a way for me to go in and mass edit them by user name?
How do you like this theme, the other one was nice too nut 4 across was not getting each post as much attention, I think this way with pages separated not one for ever infinite scroll more posts will get stars.

A plugin won't do it.
When someone makes the theme, there are parts where it takes in the post data from the DB. That php is where you'll want to put the centering code and might be different depending on the theme. It will also need to be coded everywhere where the post image/content needs to be centered. Ex: single.php, archive.php, etc.

Would adding alignment style to img marked !important to the inline style from within customize theme area make a difference?

https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-and-replace/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/real-time ... d-replace/
1st plugin makes changes in database so create a backup 1st just in case. 2nd plugin makes changes in real time only and does not alter database. I've checked out the second and it seems to get the job done. I've used the 1st to change external URLs from http to https and couldn't have been more pleased. It's real easy to use and it's quick. I suppose you could do a search for <img src and replace it with <img style="text-align:center" src. Or replace with <div style="text-align:center"><img src and do a search to find the end to add the </div>. The search where to place the close tag could be a little tricky, look at your source code to see what's unique to the end of the img tag.
