well this years Emmy Awards were not the usual affair, the 72nd Annual Emmy's were online affair not the big get together in a fancy Beverly Hills hotel as usual. Jennifer Aniston and Jimmy Kimmel did a good job as co-presenters if you ask me. I will post some photos what I find interesting in the "celebrities thread" later today.
Give me celebrity porn

According to early numbers, last night’s show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, scored a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 and drew only 5.1 million total viewers, they represent roughly a 14% dip in total audience from last time around.

What i find is these major Hollywood events have turned into political statements by participants and the true meaning of the shows have disappeared, what do you think about this point.

virtually a failing show again my thinking. They have to make this more appealing to more people to stay popular.

I am all for virtual awards and shows, this is 2020 not 1920. Let's get with the times.

Just an observation the shows / conferences industries are not making money 'cause of this coronavirus pandemic.

Awards even the presidential debates can carry on in the virtual world. I am all for it why not do it the 21st century way plus prevent the spread of Coronavirus in mass gatherings.
