So, you know how when you go to an adult site and the warning says you have to be 18 or '21 in some states'? I was wondering which states might that be, I can't find that info. The best I got was someone said that Texas was really strict with porn laws, but even there it's 18.

Is this just a myth? :p

*I'm not talking about non-USA countries, some warnings specifically say states and not jurisdiction/area/etc.

My understanding has always been, and I stand to be corrected.

In 47 states the age of majority is 18. In Alabama and Nebraska the age of majority to 19 and Mississippi is 21.

I have always assumed (again "Never assume you make an ass out of you and me", as the late British comedian Benny Hill used to say) the legal age of majority is the requirement to view porn.

Now all this is my understanding, not to be taken as legal advice by anyone. Always consult your legal counsel when it comes to the law.
(Just to cover my ass if I am wrong lol)
