The full thing not trim it around the cheeks or neck, just let it rip.I'll keep it short, say a week length. My girlfrined says it is ugly, well hey you try shave every day. What do you all think of a real beard not some shaped one?

No that is not what i meant, I meant a weeks growth, trim it down to say 1/8th of an inch, but yes all over the dace not do any trimmings around the cheeks or neck.

Live your life your way, Letterman said he got tired of shaving everyday to do tv for what35 years or so, so when he left the Late Show he decided to grow his beard. I might do exactly what you want to do FN, this shaving every morning 7 days a week does get to be a chore after all these years.

Problem is with a weeks growth length it's going to be itchy all the time it needs to be a bit longer... thing to do is grow it until it stops itching and then keep it at that length...

For a good few years I just ran the electric cutters all over head and face with a number one Jason Statham style but I am way too bald now to do that it just looks daft so once a week it all gets shaved with a razor blade apart from my long tash that gets a trim.

I can shave every 4-5 days and not look as if I have not shaved each day. I have blond hair and not much on my face so i am happy.
