Holy hell, no backups? Way too trusting, that's how you get burned. Always remember Murhpy's Law. What can go wrong will go wrong. Lots of times anyways.

If you don't back up your server, at least back up your wp sites. Just started using this plugin to back up to google drive (in addition to my scheduled server backups) wpvivid, it's in the repository. There's a link as well for 14 day trial to pro edition. Get the pro, after 2 weeks you won't get the updates and support for pro but the pro functions still work

If your host goes down and you don't have backups, once in a while you'll get lucky and they will have something in the TOS saying that they keep backups in case of shutting down. If so, demand those asap.

Archive.org can be helpful for copying/pasting articles and other things in case you really need that, too. :p

sign up at another place and upload my latest back up copy, will waste a day or 2 but I download daily backups every morning from the last night copy on my server.

Back it up daily and keep a local copy or else it is going to be bad one day if your server crashes and or your hosts goes under.
