first click to popunder sucks

So I am noticing more sites add popunders, I have said my peace on popunders for new sites and ones with very few hits, but that being what it is. I see sites adding popunder codes to their sites where none of the links on their site work until the first click goes to their pop. That is really stupid, you are alienating your surfers. The whole point of a site to grow is to get people to come back and refer others not piss them off.

I updated the TOS on Best XXX Sites to address this and I will not list sites that play this game.

Most newbs miss the point of adding popunders before building up their traffic.

As a marketer and media buyer, I can agree with you. It's too annoying and me as a user will exit the site and pop immediately.

However, let the user be at least one or two minutes on your site, that you put him a pop.

That tactic with first click pop is too much aggressive.

Some ads you can close after 5 seconds, some you have to let it play all the way. Both suck.
