Here's why I asked, my girlfriend tells me that when we go out other guys talk louder, get more attention than me. I am not that type to make myself the center of attention at parties. So is she right and I have to get myself seen and heard more or carry on as I am. We have fun at parties but she always complains no one came up to me and started a conversation, and it is me who goes joins chat.

You are who you are, and you should be comfortable with yourself, you should not change your ways to please anyone. Not just you or me, but in general. If you are not the load brash type at parties well that's who you are.
There is no right or wrong way to be in life, we are all individuals with our own traits. As long as it is not hurting others carry on how you are.
