Seriously it was not a pleasant experience, I went to my doctor for my annual medical examination, I knew what was coming so I forgot to go on the scheduled date of January but when they called last week I coudn't avoid it so i said okay. The usual stuff, how are you, any problems, still smoking, you still drink.....

Then the mandatory blood pressure, weight and temperature tests. So far so good, he says the nurse will take 4 vials of blood, I go not scared of injections or having my blood taken.

He walks in 15 minutes later says okay lets check your prostate, I said how about we don't lol. He said have to you're over 50. Man I honestly do not know what fun gay guys have from anal sex, just his dam index finger in there rummaging around for like what seemed 3 hours was enough for me. Actually it was closer to a minute I think.

The usual speech about think of your health, your family stop smoking and no more than 1 beer a nite, like 1 beer a nite will even do anything to me... he says I want you so cal make an appointment for a colonoscopy it has been 5 years since your first one. The colonoscopy was not painful, I was out when they injected the prpofol in the iv I woke up no pain nothing, but a lot of gas having to come out my rear end. The part that sucked was the clear liquid diet for the whole day before and the shit they have you drink to clean out your insides, but got to do what you got to do.

That's been my Monday morning so far. So how has your day been so far?

My hubby has a prostate exam every year. It is what men have to do to catch early signs of prostate cancer. Just have it hon.

You can refuse any procedure but I went along with it because it is right when you are older to have a prostate exam.

Prostate exams after 40 are recommended, so do them once a year and think nothing of it thebutcher
