yeh well we have enough wild fires in Los Angeles every year and some are started by accident when people throw out burning cigs. So yes fine these people save lives, property an money.

Couple of things I hate when I see people throw out their garbage out of the car, the streets are not a rubbish dump, they are for everyone's use and enjoyment. Plus the fire risks involved.

But they are not putting ashtrays in many new cars for years, you have to buy them, so maybe car companies need to encourage people not chucking out their cigarette butts out the window by putting ashtrays back in cars.
