My GF bought me a Alexa gadget for Christmas, we play games together, the shit is good. Never tried Siri but I think from what I read they both are good at the same things.

I have Siri, I tel it to turn on my lights it does, I do a lot with it. Great thing to have for a few bucks.

They're decent for some things like when your hands are busy in the kitchen. Good but not life altering.

I have to get the big version of Alexa, we had the small one but gave it to my hubby's son. I miss it.

Smart homes are a good thing. Turn your AC /heating on and off form your phone, turn on the lights, check the cameras inside to see if your pets are okay...... all good things
