I am asking a question here, NOT making a statement.
Who’s to blame for the government shutdown?
Maybe a better question is
Who is technically responsible for the government shutdown?
I want to know technically who is to blame. Technically, NOT politically.
You left freaks shut up and you right zealots just stay off the post. Seriously please.
We need an intellectual to share technical data with us.
I keep reading articles that play the blame game.

Please remember that the majority of Government Employees have traditionally been back paid for the time of the shut downs. It is like an unpaid vacation, that you are later paid for. I understand that some people are not going to be paid. That is the responsibility of their employers, not the Government. IMHO
For those of you that say "how were they supposed to survive without money during the shut down". Well you people should go take some accounting, economics, history and just regular how to survive classes. I laugh at those that ask this and I feel sorry for them. Yep I can be a dick, but it is not my responsibility to do their DUE DILIGENCE. I wish I was not a dick and could explain to them how simple it would be to deal with this type of issues, had they all been properly educated.
Money management is important, but that is a subject for a different post.
In the simplest and most direct terms, the Democrats are certainly to blame for the government shutdown.

The problem how I see it is the 2 sides want bragging rights since the 2020 primaries are getting close, so it's a case of who can make the other side look bad for the upcoming election.

We need Bernie to run and win the only guy with half a brain and good ideas, the 2 parties are out of touch with the real world. You know they are all millionaires or multi-millionaires in the Senate right. How can the super rich know what the average Joe wants or needs.

"Limiting deliberations to the appropriations committee, and sidelining administration officials, gave Democrats a decisive edge from the start. "
Seems the Democrats might have been playing procedural games and exacerbating the issue for political gain.
" Appropriators knew how to reach a deal — and were willing to do it without the White House in the room."

"I am going to be signing a national emergency," Trump said from the Rose Garden, as he claimed illegal immigration marked "an invasion of our country."

Border Patrol official says Trump's proposed wall would be 'absolutely' helpful
A U.S. Border Patrol chief of law enforcement operations is expressing support for President Trump's proposed border wall, saying it would benefit agents.
Hastings's comments come as a caravan of Central American migrants makes its way to the U.S.-Mexico border.
"It's important to note that we have 2,000 arrests per day besides the caravan. That's everyday business right now for us. We're very busy. This caravan just adds another component or another challenge to what we do daily," he said.
Border Patrol agents on Sunday sprayed tear gas at migrants trying to breach the busy San Ysidro port of entry between Tijuana and California.
"One thing that we saw that we absolutely could [have] used yesterday is infrastructure. As the subjects from the caravan quickly ran through the forces in Mexico, they went to the infrastructure on the east side of our port of entry in San Ysidro," Hastings said. "In that particular area, we have old landing mat fence, which was from the '90s era and was quickly torn apart if you will by several of the subjects there, who were also throwing rocks and projectiles at our agents."
"Without a doubt, we could use a wall in an area like that," he added.

What is wrong with building a border wall.It will keep out illegals any person with a legal basis or asylum cause can enter trough a real border crossing. I support the president on this idea 100%.
