Looking to move and want raid on the server. Managed, must be able to load my sites fast, I'm doing 4 to 4.3 Mbps right now. CPanel a must.

What you got for me.

Mine is a raid, do hosts even have non-raid servers in these times.

Raid is a must for me. When my affiliate program crashed 13 years ago I was fucked up so bad I lost 3 days stats and paid every affiliate and extra day based on their last months sales numbers. Not only did I not make a dime for 3 days i over compensated the affiliates. But back then money would flow in from affiliates as if there is no tomorrow.

What happens when your hard drive fails and there is no raid?

It has to be a raid setup for me, can not risk a data loss

my server does not have raid on it, but I learned my lesson have the server backed up nightly to another host. Best $12 a month I ever spent.

A backup is good but not the same as a raid card in your setup.Installing a new drive and backing up takes way longer.

It makes no common sense why a host would use anything but raid servers.

My question for hosts who do not have raid servers, how do you plan on working round a failed hard drive.
