what location is the best to host a server

[Kev]

Looking to see what you all think, some cities have better connectivity, talk to me. I am looking to move my 2 boxes.

[fappmaster]

Lot of hosts in New York and Amsterdam, so just 2 guess they have good infrastructure

[snapsuch]

I have a server in Miami, and for $74.95 a month it works perfectly.

[Toons-man]

Any major data center these days is good

[host4porn]

As @fappmaster said both of those locations seem to be popular.

We operate a data center in Northern New Jersey (30 mins outside of the city) with many PoP in NYC.
Maybe we could be of help?

[Kev]

It was a general education question

[workman]

Any more ideas?

[brt22]

my little account is in Chicago , this was never a concern of mine when choosing a hosting company to lease a web server.

[donnie]

I hear New jersey come up a lot from hosting reps

[pussylover]

We have some big hosting operations here in Los Angeles

[jag]

Some hosts offer you the option of picking which of their data centers to host at.

[ezdoesitz]

My host is in Atlanta, they run a good service my sites work fast and all the time. If anybody cares.

I think location for a server was more important before major networks were so common.
