Flash is still not totally dead.... if your board security is good then why disable it ?
I like the new look it is easier on the eyes for a start, but more importantly hopefully it will get shot of some of the fucktards if they don't bother to register again (that would be nice) plus the fact there was a lot of dead wood in the old site as in literally dead people and people who long left the business...

To be honest I have not frequented forums in a long time the only one was SC but as I mentioned I grew tired of the idiots, so the only real reason why I signed up for this new version was so no fucker could take my username and pretend to be me !
Can you fucking imagine that ? what if the imposter started to be polite towards people ? or started posting pictures of goats ? no way man....

Anyway if you keep the fucktards away I might frequent every day (does that make me a poet now)...

One thing I would like to see is a longer post edit time say 30 mins why ? because at times you may need to add or amend something after you have been for a shit and you can no longer do it due to edit time out.

Well either way I am pleased it is Bill tasked with filling up the posts rather than Assmonkey !

Actually Andy purging of a few bad apples on the old place was one of the considertations One of my stalkers signed up here today "Billcurry" his first post is in this thread. I soon took care of that by tightening up how new members can post here. They have to make a first post, that goes in moderation, once the post is approved they can get full access to the board and post in real time.
Basically how the old sponsorchat was done. But being rusty on PhPBB I forgot that part, but it's done now.

One of the other reasons that influenced the total make over was posts form 14 years ago and even 10 years ago were being bumped and those meant nothing to the business today.

Another reason was having a more organized forum, and separating over 500,000 posts was just not practical.

There are other reasons for the switch but I'll get into that later.

yes Bill has been a great help in his time here and advice, quite a bit of what is here is his ideas. For example the separate forums.
