What happens when you die
My parents are Catholic and I was raised to believe in heaven and hell, now that I have committed quite a few sins. Masturbating, lusting after women, gambled and now starting my first (of hopefully many) porn blog. Am I destined to go to hell?

More than likely yes. However, Jesus forgives all sins, and you know you can repete.

If God exists and loves all his creatures he will forgive you but there is no hell so don't worry about going there

nobody here knows for certain if there is a heaven
nobody here knows for certain if their is a hell
nobody here knows for certain if reincarnation is a fact or a myth
nobody here knows for certain if there is a god, or if there is no god
people have beliefs
and people can believe anything they want to believe
but believing, and actuality, are two different things
so believe what you want, whatever it is, and when we all die, we'll find out the cosmic truth
if there is a god, it could be a he, or a she, or an it
he might be shaped like you and me
she might be shaped like your wife or girlfriend
it might be shaped like an octopus or a 3 headed monster or a vast cloud of omnipotent intelligence

I'm a former Catholic, now I am an evangelical. My belief now has changed since then.
If a person truly accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he is saved and will go to heaven. Along the way, even if that person sins, he will still go to heaven. Although a person's sin will catch up on him, as what the Bible says, "what you sow, you will reap" (Galatians 6:7).

Jeffrey may I ask what made you change. Just curious if it is personal I do not wish to pry.

The change at first was not about doctrinal issue. It was about life at 19, depressed because of flunked grades in college, my own fault really because it was more of fun and party than going to school.TheButcher wrote: ↑February 20th, 2018, 12:00 pmJeffrey may I ask what made you change. Then I started to read the Bible, because I was needing help. Everything fell into place after that. I met a pretty girl in school, she invited me to her church. She and other people in the church were helpful in making me better.
Though an evangelical church is far from perfect, but I can feel the big difference, both in being biblical and caring for people personally.
The Catholic church is violating much of the Bible's basic doctrine. Many of their leader's cannot give an answer even in this thread's topic. In my observation, most of those who left Christianity for other religions such as Islam, and even those who become agnostics, atheists and secularists come from the Catholic church.
