Doing business with a free email address

[AlexO]

Just looked around the new posts here and one guy asked another if he has a professional email address. The person selling was using a free email address, so it got me thinking.

How do you feel about dealing with a rep or somebody selling a service or goods who uses a free email address.

[TheButcher]

It doesn't bother me to be honest, if I know the person it's fine.

Having your own domain and email address seems best for me, I have always gone with this plan.

[ZR1]

Nope I use my yahoo addy every where.

As a business not professional, as a webmaster it's fine. You don;t see bank of america use some yahoo email on their site, so sites have to use a real email if you ask me.

On every program I join & forum I use a specific email on my main domain so i know if they spam

[britporn_mike]

I use gmail for all my bizzy

No it does not inspire confidence when I deal with a program or rep who has a free eamil address.

[nudelinks]

What's it matter if they have a website?

[bbwlover]

That is the least of my problems, finding trades and getting paid by sponsors is more of a hassle right now.

Not the best of ideas if you want to be taken seriously.

Agreed

[XpressPete]

I know what you all mean but I still like using my gmail address when signing up to sponsors.

There is a good reason to use free emails when signing up to programs and boards.........

Why not use admin, webmaster, some nick on your own domain.
