WP or other free scripts help

What I want is to start a directory to trade links, I need a script free would work, any plugins or themes for WP or other scripts you can suggest.

There used to be decent scripts out there both free and paid. A lot of them have disappeared or are no longer updated. Do a search.

If you use it for trades, be careful. I had a couple sites de-listed by google a few years ago because of an a-b-c trade script (Linkx ???) I was using. I had to remove it and go beg google to be listed again!

The script gave it away. This dumbass put the submit page in a folder that was named after the script and of course the script name and link was on it too. Sure as shit the script was named in google's email to me stating I'm getting delisted, to remove the script and submit for review. I yanked that shit off all my sites asap. It didn't take long to get listed again. Good thing! In hindsight if I hadn't been so obvious and perhaps had named the folder something else as well as remove the name and link to script it probably would have flown under the radar. Lesson learned, if you do something blackhat don't advertise it! lol

Yeah but it's labor intensive. In recent history I've been mainly relying on Linkspun.

If you want trades, I can find them all day and know a lot of people looking.

Yup. Fuck Twan, a few others and I tried to buy TL back before it and all of his directories except like 2 of them disappeared...

These days, review sites are much better than directories.
