forum software recommendations

[badkitty]

I am about to add a forum where all my blogs link to , it'll be 100% surfer action, which forum software do you recommend.

[TheButcher]

I have used both Vbulletin and now PhpBB for this board over the last 14 years, the former is now $249 and the latter is free, and the I like them both especially the 3.0.x version of VB over the latest one, that said and cost has nothing to do with why I went with PhpBB now, I just did, and it has served me well.

There are so many good ones now

[GRXlinks]

have you checked Xenforo

[ricco]

If it was my site then I would go with Vbulletin

[CTE]

vbulletin is the one to go with

Vbulletin and Phpbb are both solid backends for any size forum.

Forums are too much work for the money they make, look how so many adult webby forums closed and are over now.

so....which did you decide to go with?

In your opinion is there still money in making a surfer porn forum where they upload amateur pics?

[bill]

some tube scripts also allow users to upload pics...the best of both worlds

xhamster allows users to upload both, for example

but these are paid scripts...not free

One caveat from me, xhamster has real fucking traffic, most of us have smaller blogs and sites with no where near the traffic xhamster, pornhub or any of those big tubes have.

many of the top paid positions at thehun are photo blogs...so many dollars in such

It depends on your budget and skills to set them up
