affise links - can you make them land at the program page or do they have to go to the registration form
I have a question a sponsor here uses affise for their affiliate program and the links go to a registration form, I asked (I am not picking on the sponsor) why they can not send affiliates to their program home page he said because they are using SaaS.
My point is clicking on a link or banner going to a generic registration page is not a good idea. What is the person landing on that page going to do, fill out the registration form not knowing what he is registering to?
So if you are using affise for your affiliate end and saas, can you some how make the banners / links go to your program page or not.
Thank you

If you can only link to a registration page that sucks there has to be a way to link to any page you want.

There must be an option to link the affiliate link to any page the site owner wants, it is not rocket science.

Exactly and so many sponsors don't seem to get this. The trick is to get the user to what he wants to see in as few clicks as possible. That means, if he clicks on a banner with a particular girl on it, then link him to that girls webpage. If your site happens to have say 'mature' content, then link him to more mature content. If your site features BBWs then show him more BBWs. Believe me, once you start targeting your traffic like this, you'll see your click throughs climb sky high
That's why we have thousands of landing pages that you can target your traffic to. You can link to the main index page, a specific web girl, a category of girls (eg all BBWs), an update category (eg all lesbian updates) or even link to a specific update page.
Don't waste your time throwing traffic at a registration page or even throwing everything at one tour page hoping that some of it will stick.

From a sponsors point of view, CCBill has one BIG problem. That is that all the affiliate links don't point back to the sponsors domain, they point to CCBill. That means the sponsor is throwing away all the SEO benefit he would otherwise get from having external links to his site and instead, he is giving it all to CCBill.
That's why most of the big sponsors don't use them

I just got a reply from Diana at Affise and asked her what the deal is with sending affiliates to the program home page not to the generic registration form, which really is not effective or the right way to link banners and links to.
I hope she replies.
