I run into this so often you complete the contact form on a site, click send it refreshes to a blank form again, the way to do it is to show a message to the effect "Your message has been submitted"

How else are we supposed to know if the shit worked

At least a do not reply email means they got your email, whether they reply to the message is another question

So many programs never reply to a message I send is it because they know I am not a major producer or is it because they see a woman's name and do not care to reply.

The problem with public facing contact forms is they are a magnet for bot attacks. When we had one a few years ago, I would guess over 90% of the submissions were SQL injection attacks so we finally switched it to an email address
