This must be a new thing not seen it with any of my sponsors unless I have not read their Terms real closely.

Ouch. Deducting the processing fees is bad enough but the VAT will be around 20-22% of the total depending on where the customer is based. So you could be looking at a minimum of 32% deductions in your earnings !!
Just so you know, we pay ALL processing fees AND the VAT ourselves

Totally wrong to charge an affiliate billing, taxes, and charge them to pay out the earnings which Totemcash does.tacnet wrote: ↑March 21st, 2026, 6:36 pmOuch. I am going to go check all my sponsor terms and conditions to see which others do this crap.
Greed is good but not to the point where you are screwing over your affiliates who bring in your sales and revenue.

Not cool to promote as 50% then in the terms put all these deductions, I hate to say it but it is a new way to scam affiliates in my book.

We've seen this kind of thing before going back years. Often sponsors would simply say you get 50% of the profit and, of course, "the profit" can mean after they have deducted processing fees, VAT and anything else they can think of
Just so you know, we put an actual dollar amount that affiliates get for each of our signup options. Between $8 and $68 depending on the signup option the user chooses. We pay all the processing fees and the VAT
Seems much simpler that way

It is a sign that sponsors are not making as much as they were so they are looking for ways to keep more of the sales.
