Mexico next on Donald trump's list of countries to hit?

I thought Mexico was a friendly country of the United States

Trump doesn't give a damn about drugs, Venezuela was simply about grabbing the oil. Most of the cocaine from Venezuela goes to Europe NOT the United States and the small percentage that does go to the USA could easily be stopped with increased coast guard patrols. It certainly didn't require the world's biggest aircraft carrier and thousands of troops.

What can they do if he moves in, nothing so it's an easy decision for him.

Denmark (and by extension Greenland) is a member of NATO. If Trump attacks them then that will effectively be the end of NATO. Remember article 5 says that if a NATO member is attacked, then all the other members are legally obliged to come to their aid. It doesn't say anything about what happens if the country attacking them is another NATO member. They simply never envisaged that this could happen.

Fighting to support Denmark against the US would likely trigger a world war but NOT doing so would mean the end of the alliance and NATO is the one thing that has kept the world relatively safe for the last 75 years

Totally agree. Mike Johnson has pretty much given up any power that congress has and simply does what Trump wants

In my opinion this will last till the mid-terms when there will be a giant blue wave that sweeps the country. Trump will loose the house and the senate and will probably be impeached for any number of reasons. I also think he will fuck up any chance that JD Vance has to win in 2028. Just has Harris lost in 2024 because of the failures of Biden's presidency, Vance will loose in 2028 because of the chaos of Trumps presidency
