A couple of thoughts spring to mind. One the thing is political look what Trump is threatening Venezuela with. Two it's supposedly for achievements in the past year from what I understand and Trump was not yet president in his second term during 2024. Third Norway is fucked he'll probably increase tariffs on that country lol.

He might get it next year for solving the Gaza war.

I honestly don't think Trump will get it. I give him credit for getting the Gaza war to a ceasefire (although I doubt it will hold) but you gotta remember it was Trump who kept this war going for 2 years. He supplied the weapons that were dropped on Gaza. Then there's the whole bombing Iran, Yemen and Syria thing not to mention blowing up supposed drug smugglers without any kind of evidence or due process (why would drug smugglers have 11 people in a single boat ??? Its normally just one or two so they can carry more drugs). Oh and don't forget he's sending in his own military into any blue city that didn't vote for him
One more thing. Of all the Nobel Peace Prize winners over the years, NONE of them insisted that they deserve it or even sought it. The one's Ive seen were all shocked that they were even nominated let alone actually winning it. But Trump is such a narcissist that he truly believes he deserves it

Iran 2.0 is in the works, my best guess. The 11 people in a boat that could not make it from Venezuela to the US coast without refuelling seems a little odd to me too. They say Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world even more than Saudi Arabia, so they are in the same boat ( no pun) as middle east countries. When you have oil you will get conquered one way or another. He'll think up of an excuse to take control of their oil.tacnet wrote: ↑October 10th, 2025, 9:37 pmI honestly don't think Trump will get it. A US warship docked in Trinidad and Tobago’s capital Sunday as the Trump administration boosts military pressure on neighboring Venezuela and its President Nicolás Maduro.
The arrival of the USS Gravely, a guided-missile destroyer, in the capital of the Caribbean nation is in addition to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, which is moving closer to Venezuela. Maduro criticized the movement of the carrier as an attempt by the US government to fabricate “a new eternal war” against his country.
US President Donald Trump has accused Maduro, without providing evidence, of being the leader of the organized crime gang Tren de Aragua.
Government officials from the twin-island nation and the US said the massive warship will remain in Trinidad until Thursday so both countries can carry out training exercises. "
