• At least five people were killed and several others injured in a shooting attack in Jerusalem this morning, Israeli emergency services said, adding that five people with serious gunshot wounds had been taken to hospital.

• Israeli police said two attackers arrived by vehicle at Ramot Junction and opened fire toward a bus stop. A security officer and a civilian at the scene then returned fire, killing the attackers, police said.

• The shooting happened along a major highway shortly after morning rush hour.
