Some here might know my position of genders, well it is this. Why does anyone care how a person identifies them self, how they want to live and who they want to marry. Unless a person hurts me I don't care how they live. For some unknown reason and I dare say ignorance some people want everyone to conform to their standards and moral values. I have friends who are gay and lesbian, we get together we go out to dinners and each other's homes, they are my friends, I know their feelings I understand their thinking, maybe all these gay bashers need to have a family or friend ho is gay, then they will see things in a different light. People have feelings we all do, it is not easy to be gay, lesbian or transgender and come out. If a friend comes out I feel happy for them because it is a burden they have shed. I congratulate them for doing the right thing, I try support them best I can.

All these people who frown upon lgbtq individuals have not had a friend who came out, if they had they would see it from their point of view. Live and let live, you don't hurt me I won't care how you live. I can see this being an issue 200 years ago but for Christ's sake it's 2025 haven't we as a collective society of human beings learned that you are born in one physical body with a place on the spectrum of hetero to homosexuality. Not everyone is 100% heterosexual, some might realize early on and most gay people I know knew at around 13 they were not 100% the same gender as their biological sex given to them at birth.

Respect individuals and let them live their life, I don't want to go on about it but stop pushing your values on others.

I'll finish off with one last point as an example. I realized around 16 years old that I could not believe in religion, the whole a virgin woman gave birth, some guy parted the sea, some guy died and went up or came back whatever that story is. I became without realizing an atheist. I still do Christmas, I do Easter, I don't disrespect my family or friends by telling them it's all a big lie, I respect them and they respect my opinion on religion. You can live very happily without pushing your ideas on to others.

If you look at all the wars humans have fought, even today the root cause of a lot of them is "My god is better than yours." I believe a lot of anti-lgbtq hatred comes from religions and their stand on the subject.
