I honestly don't think anybody is stupid enough to go nuclear. Everybody knows that the first one to drop a nuke will be condemned by the entire world regardless of which side they are on.

You have 2 extreme religious mindsets and one has been saying for all his political life that Iran is weeks or months away from a nuclear bomb. Even US intelligence says that is not true but Netanyahu knows that hos only way to stay in power and not face the criminal charges against him is to rally the people of Israel around him in a fight for survival. There was supposed to be the 6th round of talks between the USA and Iran today and Netanyahu fired off his missiles on Friday to scuttle any chance of a peace deal.

President Trump is not a war president and ran on ending wars but if a false flag attack happens then he will have no choice to get directly involved in this war.I do not see China stayimg out if the Us gets involved because ran is a BRICS country and sells something like 80% of it's oil and gas to them.

I think both Iran and Israel can sell to their populations they achieved a win and take an off ramp but every day that goes by that becomes harder to grasp.

The only way I see this becoming a global war is if China decides that now is a good time to move on Taiwan. And if you think about it, there's a few reasons why they might think that. The west is distracted with the wars in Ukraine and the middle east. Two of China's main allies (Russia and Iran) are already at war with the west and so China would certainly have their support to make a move now. The Chinese economy is struggling and what better way to distract the people than to "reclaim" Taiwan and on top of all that, pretty much everybody in China right now hates Trump because of his tariffs
