Same people divided by religion is how I always think of India and Pakistan. There are nuances but it is basically how it is to me. Any time you have religious differences you are asking for trouble, religion is the root cause of all wars in human history.

My honest 12 cent maybe not very politically correct but that is how I feel.

Pakistan has asked Russia to talk to the Indians maybe it’ll de-escalate but the problem I see is if Modi doesn’t do done limited retaliatory strike he’ll look weak and so too will India. Maybe a contained attack might happen and it’ll be over and not get into a full blown war.
