Trump is tightening the screws on Ukraine to get Zelensky to come to his senses and agree to a peace and minerals deal. Not only has the US stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine they have told the UK they too can noi share intelligence,
"The United States has banned Britain from sharing intelligence from Washington with Ukraine as part of its withdrawal of support for Volodymyr Zelensky.
Donald Trump's decision to freeze American military aid to Kyiv yesterday brought warnings that Ukraine could run out of weapons in as little as two to three months' time.
But on top of missiles and ammunition, all UK intelligence agencies and military outlets also received an order expressly forbidding the sharing of US-generated intelligence, previously known as 'Rel UKR' - short for Releasable to Ukraine'."

I never thought I would see the day where the United States stands with Russia, North Korea and Iran whilst, at the same time, kicking their allies in the teeth (ie Europe, UK, Canada and Mexico)
Russia is spending 40% of its national budget on its war machine. Europe is re-arming faster than ever before. The UK and France are planning to move their nukes into Germany to provide a European wide nuclear umbrella.
You call that peace ?????

Zelensky will resign sooner than later, but if he or anyone has half a brain cell and thinks Ukraine will ever be in NATO they are mad. It will never happen one of the main points this whole special military operation started because of this. He can say what he wants it is not up to him, it is Russia's decision and that is well known, no NATO membership for Ukraine.BrasSmonkey wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 4:34 pmhttps://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn9vx01evp9oborn2bewild wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 4:08 pmBrasSmonkey wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 3:25 pmwhen you stop shooting weapons!!! and no nato membership to stop a fucking war!!!! that motherfucker is a retard!!!![]()

I noticed you all avoided my point so I'll say it again :-
The US is standing with Russia, North Korea and Iran whilst at the same time kicking all its former allies in the teeth (ie UK, Europe, Canada, Mexico and of course Ukraine) !!!
And one more thing, MOST AMERICANS SUPPORT UKRAINE. That's a fact !!
Its why all the democrats and a good chunk of the republicans voted to support Ukraine, even after Trump tried to hold up the last aid package. What Trump is doing right now is NOT what people voted for. They voted for him to stop the war, NOT totally side with Russia whilst extorting rare earth minerals from Ukraine and destroying NATO

I respectfully disagree, the American people voted for Trump to end this war and he is doing that. He is not siding with those countries you mentioned,he is forcing Zelensky's hand to come to his senses and stop the killing of innocent Ukrainians and Russians. He is not trying to hurt any of his allies he is trying to make them understand this war needs to stop and he will not keep throwing hundreds of billions of US tax dollars into a losing proposition. Some European leaders still have misplaced delusions that they are still neo colonial powers, well reality check none of them are and none of them are any threat to anyone without American military power backing them. Starmer and Macron in particular are leading Europe down a dangerous path without American power to save them. They need to wake up smell the coffee and try take care of their countries, both economies are in the toilet.tacnet wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 4:53 pmI noticed you all avoided my point so I'll say it again :-

I respectfully disagree also. When Trump was campaigning it was all about placing tougher sanctions on Russia and how Putin had destroyed the Russian economy. He deliberately kept a soft approach to Ukraine because he knew that most Americans (including many republicans) still support Ukraine. Since he has got into power and had that spat with Zelensky he has completely changed sides. He is putting no pressure whatsoever on Russia to concede anything. In fact, quite the opposite. Instead he is now trying to extort rare earth minerals from Ukraine without giving anything in return. NOBODY VOTED FOR THAT !TheButcher wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 5:05 pmI respectfully disagree, the American people voted for Trump to end this war and he is doing that. And yes he is kicking his allies in the teeth. What do you call trying to collapse the Canadian economy (your economy) or threatening tariffs on the European Union ?? And now cutting off UK intelligence cooperation ??
You've only got to look at how the USA voted in the UN security council the other day to see that the USA is now standing with Russia, North Korea and Iran !!. Again, if any of that had been mentioned during the campaign then NOBODY would have voted for it

Zelensky's days are numbered, the US is reported to have held talks with his opponents. He is either going to have to resign or be ousted. He should never have thrown a tantrum and be so rude to president Trump at the White House last week.
" Top Trump allies hold secret talks with Zelenskyy’s Ukrainian opponents
As Washington ramps up its pressure on Zelenskyy to step aside, his rivals are talking to Trump’s team. "

Are you kidding ?? There is a huge wave of support for Zelensky in Ukraine after the way Trump tried to bully him. His approval rating is over 60% (which is way above Trumps)TheButcher wrote: ↑March 6th, 2025, 7:35 amZelensky's days are numbered, the US is reported to have held talks with his opponents. Its NOT for Trump to dictate who is the president of Ukraine. That is for the Ukranian people to decide

Trump has now taken away the intelligence that provided Ukraine with an early warning system against Russian missile attacks. So in effect, Ukraine is now totally blind and unable to protect their civilians against missile and drone attacks. As a result, Putin has stepped up his attacks and is now launching waves of missiles and drones against civilian targets (infrastructure, energy etc). A lot of Ukrainian citizens are going to die as a result of this. Trump is effectively holding Ukraine down and inviting Putin to come and kick them in the teeth
How can allowing more Ukrainian civilians to die be classed as a step towards peace ???

Zelensky wants peace more than Putin does. He's even offered to resign if it means a lasting peace for his country (ie one with security guarantees). I don's see Putin making ANY gestures towards peace and Trump isn't putting any pressure on him to do so. Quite simply, Trump is turning against all his allies (not just Ukraine but also Europe, UK, Canada, Japan, Australia and all the other countries supporting Ukraine) whilst cozying up to a ruthless dictator like PutinAlexO wrote: ↑March 8th, 2025, 9:13 amTrump is putting the thumb screws on Zelensky to come make peace it's the only way to make that goon stop fighting.tacnet wrote: ↑March 7th, 2025, 4:08 pmTrump has now taken away the intelligence that provided Ukraine with an early warning system against Russian missile attacks. Did you see that both Germany and Poland are now considering building their own nuclear bombs because they can no longer rely on the USA nuclear deterrent ? How is that a step towards world peace ?
