The Trump administration is going to divert funding and weapons to Israel, he has pretty much said that. The big fight is China if you ask me.

If there is a ceasefire (and there's a lot of republicans who don't think we should abandon Ukraine) then I predict that within a few years, Putin will come back for the rest of Ukraine and the Baltic states. Just has he set out in his essay of 2020. This is exactly the scenario that the rest of NATO is preparing for right now as NONE of them believe that Putin will stop at just the Donbas.

Even if Trump doesn't pull out of NATO altogether, he has certainly divided it and a weakened NATO is just what Putin wants to realize this dreams of a united Russia. Appeasing a ruthless dictator with ideas on expanding his empire does NOT stop a war, in fact it's more likely to start one (aka Hitler and the Munich agreement in 1938)
