Yes - but still only if manually enabling flash. Is there a setting to make it convert to something other than flash and/or replace the player itself?

That is what i am trying to find. The upload and conversion worked now, but I had to install flash. Looking around for an alternative way to view it. We're getting there.

In the video format, it has the one option, FLV (H.263/MP3)
does that mean anything to you.
And for file extensions it has avi,mpg,mpeg,flv,f4v,rm,asf,wmv,mov,mp4,ts,m2t
I removed everything but mp4, to see if the next upload will work.

Bad news, my techs wrote.
"All necessary packages were installed from our side on your server. Please send a request to script developer with all issue details."
The problem is in the admin, there is only one option, FLV. That field is a drop down box but with only 1 choice.

I just checked in ftp, there is a folder on the site called "Player" and there are 3 players, flowplayer, jwplayer and wmvplayer. But in the admin panel you only get the one option FLV. Anyone have ideas on this?

I suspect editing the code you can call upon any player - just needs someone to sit down with it and look at the options

There is a fix, its just a matter of programmer having a look:
1. Replace the player used to a non-flash one
2. Add ability to use/convert to other formats than flv
3. Replace database deprecations to make it php7 compatible
....but it take a bit of work
