It's laughable how MAGA republicans are going out of their way NOT to call this a war. If they do then there is the issue that only congress can declare war AND Trump campaigned on "no more foreign wars"

I agree he just threw his whole campaign promise and base under the bus for Netanyahu who for the past 30 years has been saying Iran is weeks away form building a nuke. Even the US intelligence services and IAEA said that was not the case a few weeks ago. He also claimed he obliterated their nuclear sites and capabilities in June 2025, yet come now he says they were weeks away again. Which one is it did you obliterate their nuke capabilities or not. It's about nukes, it's about proxies, it's about killing protesters, it's about regime change. Get the story straight. Come out say my boss Netayahu told me to bomb them.

I am in no way shape or form saying the Iranian regime was good but then he goes bobs or Israel bombs the 3 people they had on a short list to become the next leader lol. There was a thing in place called the JCPOA with international monitoring and all I have ever read said the Iranians were complying guess who tore that thing up in his first term.

He goes and kills their supreme leader on day one of this war, guy was 86 years old, not long to live and makes him a martyr for the Iranians and Shite Muslims. Great idea not. In that religion he was the equivalent to the Pope or archbishop of Canterbury. Not exactly a thing that turns people against their religion and says we love you America.
Lastly who says the next leader even though they have said they will kill who ever is put in place will be any more pro-western. My guess they'll get some hard line religious guy, who unlike the one they just killed will want a nuke or two. Because you know why, a nuke means no one will attack you, case in point why isn't trump attacking Russia for the Ukraine war, or China for the way they treated the Uyghurs, or North Korea for all their human rights violations.

Bingo get a nuke you will not get attacked.

This thing can easily escalate to world war three in next to no time.

It doesn't look like anybody has really thought this through. For example, why didn't they have a strike force ready and waiting at the straight of Hormuz to escort the oil tankers ??? Surely somebody should have realized that Iran would immediately block it ?? I guess that's what you get when the secretary of war's previous job was a weekend host on Fox and friends and he seems more worried about beards, transgenders and fat soldiers than military tactics !!
