You've been saying that for over 2.5 years LOL. Look at the facts

• Russia is suffering over 1,000 casualties a DAY at the moment. Anywhere from 460,000 to 720,000 so far (and these are not Ukrainian figures. BBC Russia and Mediazona did a detailed study where they actually put names to each and every casualty)

• Russia has lost over 3,100 tanks which is more than they sent into Ukraine in the first place

• They've lost over 200 aircraft without gaining any kind of air supremacy over Ukraine. Which is why they are launching glide bombs from behind their own borders rather than fly over Ukraine

• The black sea fleet has been so DECIMATED that its practically pulled out of the black sea altogether.

• NATO has DOUBLED their border with Russia and added 2 new members

• Putins economy is being propped up by a MASSIVE war budget (over 7.2% of GDP, the highest of ANY country bar Ukraine). The minute the fighting stops, all that dissapears and his economy will tank

And all that for what ??? The front line has hardly moved in the last 2.5 years !!

I hate to disagree with you out of respect but those stats are reverse. Everybody and their dead great great grand mother knows Russia has the upper hand and is going to dictate the terms of the final resolution and Ukraine is going to have to accept it. Ukraine is going to have to take whatever terms Russia outs in front of them. I always said they will go all the way to Odessa and up to the Dnipro river. Zelensky had a peace plan handed to him a month ago and instead of negotiating he went into the Kursk region. That move totally hastened the advance by Russian forces plus they said no negotiation. They even said this is the best offer you will have, he turned it down. I feel very bad for innocent lives lost, this thing is a meat grinder for Ukrainian forces.

Two new countries have joined NATO specifically to protect themselves from Russia. All those countries are not now going to throw their hands up and say "oh well, we got that wrong". That would be the end of NATO

I think they are much more likely to put boots on the ground before they let that happen. If not NATO troops then certainly individual countries troops ie Finland, Sweden, Poland, Baltic States, France, UK etc

Unfortunately so Europe has become an economic disaster and no more cheap Russian gas. Sanctions never work they backfire. Sweden was neutral for what 200 years the foreign minister Tobias Billstrom spear headed the NATO membership and abruptly resigned today plus announced he is leaving politics. Yes Europe and the rest of those countries threw away a lot of their tax dollars and gave their own weapons to Ukraine in vain.

I think they are much more likely to put boots on the ground before they let that happen. If not NATO troops then certainly individual countries troops ie Finland, Sweden, Poland, Baltic States, France, UK etc

Not in official uniform they won't dare, maybe masquerading as volunteers or putting on Ukrainian army attire and Russia will hit them hard. Russia knows and has said it can not fight a conventional war with 50 countries they will go tactical or all out nuclear.

I hope this thing does not spread but the situation is so tense any slight miscalculation can spiral out of control real fast.

One thing I have to give credit to Biden he has not been talked into or fooled into putting US or NATO troops on the ground. That is probably the wisest decision he has made in his presidency.

There is NO QUESTION of this going nuclear. You dont use nuclear weapons in a country that you intend to occupy/annex. The whole place would be radio active and uninhabitable for years. Look at Chernoble. Ontop of that, the invasion into Kursk has shown the west that all Putin's nuclear sabre rattling is just that. EVERY red line that Putin has drawn has now been crossed and he has done NOTHING. He knows that the minute he uses nuclear weapons, he has lost. The entire world will condemn him (including China) and it would mean the end of him and probably the Kremlin too.

This year alone, ALL these countries have signed a 10 year bilateral security agreement with Ukraine - UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Canada, Italy, Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, USA, Japan, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Luxemburg, Romania, Czech Republic, Ireland and Australia.

The west is trying to STOP the war in Ukraine before it spreads into a world war.
